Drills to Skills (3-day General Skills Clinic)
This Clinic is an opportunity for players at younger age groups to develop and/or enhance their skills within the game of baseball. This clinic will provide information pertaining to all baseball and softball players regardless of position, age or experience. Topics covered will include proper fielding fundamentals (including fielding form, footwork & transitions), proper throwing techniques & fundamentals (including body dynamics, arm path & footwork), hitting fundamentals (including swing mechanics, hitting to all fields & increased power).
The clinic will take place at the Inside The Lines Sports indoor training facility, which is an 8,200 sq. ft., fully air-conditioned training space specifically setup for baseball & softball training.
The Clinic will be led by Andy Broughton (Owner of Inside The Lines Sports). Andy is a local product (Clear Lake HS Graduate) that was fortunate enough to play baseball in both college and as a professional. Andy has been a coach at almost every level (little league to college) & instructor for 16+ years. Andy truly believes that all players are different & respond to different instruction ideologies, which is why he provides information and instruction to grow a player's individual strengths and limit their weaknesses.
