Roel Garcia - Instructor:
Roel Garcia attended & graduated from Deer Park High School, where he was a two-year starter for the legendary coach, Chris Rupp. After graduating high school, Roel went on to play collegiate baseball at Rice University, under the tutelage of another legendary coach, Coach Wayne Graham. Originally drafted in the 27th round of 2019 MLB Draft by the Toronto Blue Jays, he chose to return to Rice & complete his college career. In 2022, he was once again drafted, this time in the 14th round by the Tampa Bay Rays. Roel is currently with the Tampa Bay Rays Organization, finishing this last season in Bowling Green, their Adv. A affiliate.
Though Roel is still chasing his dream of one day playing on a major league roster, he enjoys the opportunity to pass along the information, strategy, & baseball knowledge he has attained throughout his career. Roel is eager to instruct as much as possible until he is called back to the club to begin his next season. Inside The Lines is very excited to welcome Roel to our superb team of instructors The knowledge & experience he has will be invaluable to young athletes, and aspiring pitchers, no matter their skill level.
