Jon Kemmer - Instructor:

Jon Kemmer, is originally from a small town in Pennsylvania. He competed in collegiate baseball at Allagany College of Maryland (JuCo), Brewton Parker College (NAIA) & Clarion University.  Jon was drafted by the Houston Astros in 2013, where he worked his way from A to AAA. He spent 2018 in AAA for the Minnesota Twins and 2019 for the Los Angeles Dodgers. He has been fortunate enough to have four big-league camp invites. 

 

Jon has obtained knowledge from several years of playing and instruction experience.  He uses his experience in his teachings & instruction methods. He believes that all players develop differently, and uses his experience to help navigate the mental challenges that players will face throughout their career.

o    2-time first-team All-American at Allagany College of Maryland (Juco)
o    SSAC League MVP and first-team All-American at Brewton Parker College (NAIA)

o    1st-team All-Region at Clarion University (D2)

Professional Baseball
o    Drafted by the Houston Astros in 2013
o    Team MVP and Texas League Batting Champion 2015

o    2nd half All-Star team for AAA 2017
o    AAA for the Minnesota Twins 2018

o    Los Angeles Dodgers 2019

o    Mexican League All-Star in 2019

o    Career batting average of .283, with 116 home runs, 381 RBI's,

     .509 Slugging %, and an OPS of .875

 

Coaching / Instruction Experience

o    Independent Private Instruction (8+ years)
o    Works with players of all ages & fielding positions, including pitchers.
